One of our Group's management philosophy is to "nurture human resources at each level, so that we can become a more diverse and creative organization", and we declared "The people of Furukawa Electric Group are our greatest value."

We respect the diversity of individual attitudes and values based on various backgrounds, such as race, creed, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, handicapped people's presence, educational background, and family situation. Moreover, we can enhance each person's ability and work, and make use of each other's strengths to change to the power of the organization. They are the driving force of our group's sustainable success.

Ever since our foundation in 1884, we have built our business on communicating, linking, and storing energy, information and heat. We have developed a wide variety of products around the world in infrastructure fields, such as telecommunications and energy, as well as in other fields such as automotive components and electronics.
In recent years, with the advent of technology that will drastically change the way of the industry so far such as AI (artificial intelligence), 5G (fifth generation mobile communication system), Automobile CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric), etc.,It has become an era when conventional "common sense" and "successful experiences" do not pass.

Because of these times, our group hopes to accelerate technological innovations with a view to the future and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society by helping to ensure the diversity of human resources and the growth of those who intend to continue to challenge.

We will continue to cultivate an organizational culture that values people, and work on various measures such as autonomous work-life management, as well as to support women's activities, in the spirit of valuing employees since our founding, and will promote diversity and inclusion (securing and accepting diversity).
